History
The Alamo Theatre building is Northeast Historic Film’s home. It was built as a cinema in 1916. The life of this cinema spans the heyday of moviegoing. Many local residents remember seeing movies in the Alamo...
Renting The Venue
The Alamo has been rented for film screenings, concerts, weddings, bar mitzvahs, board meetings, and public hearings. We have tons of tables and chairs and have successfully hosted 50 for a sit-down luncheon...
Sponsor a Movie
See your name in lights! Sponsorship provides a constant and dedicated source of funding to support our mission to share and exhibit motion pictures of interest to the people of our region.
Inclusion & Assistive Technology
In an effort to be Your community cinema, and the belief that everyone deserves to go to the movies, we are doing our best to make it accessible to more people.
Rent The Marquee
Everyone loves to see their name in lights! We love to help celebrate your special occasions and loved ones. Or how about advertising your website or special offer? What an affordable and special way to show you care or to get the word out.
Movie Passes & Gift Certificates
While you can purchase movie passes at any of our screenings, we suggest that you head to BookStacks at 71 Main Street, Bucksport, Maine to pick them up or call 207 469-8992. They have regular business hours, pretty good coffee, wine, newspapers, magazines and can get you just about any book you might want.
