Exterior views of woman weaving with reeds on a rough loom made of sticks in a small tent village in rural Syria. A young girl brings more supplies. Pans across the line of tents where several more women are also weaving (the tents may be made of these woven reeds). Shots of small children playing around the tents, a few men help with the reeds or weave their own mats. Several men work to re-shoe a horse. Many saddled animals are seen nearby. Views of a market area. Market scenes; two men pose with their camels, another man measures out grain for sale at the market. American male tourist looks over clay pots for sale.
