Spring 1953 By the kitchen window at 417 Main St. Cindy & Normie “franternizing”! On the bed with Daddy Lee. Growing up, sitting up & “bubbling.” And standing up! “A bit moth-eaten on the back of my head.” Looking for Pop Huntington, a bit unsteady, but who cares. My big sister Marcia. And cousins Timmy & Matthew. Matthew don’t go for this picture taking nonsense, but his mother says it’s OK! I fell – so I cried, too. Walking is really quite a trick, but I like it. Mommy helps some, of course. Cousin Jack as an onlooker. That horse sure is “tippy” – Guess I’ve had it! Timmy can do all of my riding. Norman strolling along Main St. with Marcia. Cindy with some admirers. Denny is the sailor boy and that’s his new bike. Dot & Cindy. Memorial Day parade. Two brothers – At Grandma’s house. June ’53 Miss Scott – Kindergarten teacher at Wallace School. Denny – in sailor suit. Normie inspecting the school work. Ok it’s a “Think & Do” book. I’ll show it to my friend Sandi. Marcia, Normie & Linda Clarke & Denny. Mommy & Cindy. Marcia, Denny & Normie at Reid State Park, Water Pool. That’s just seaweed. Don’t worry. Now in the breakers – almost. Spraying at 417 Main. Mommies Paul? Scarlets. Eating lobsters at the seashore with Grandma & Grandpa. That’s what Cindy did while we ate.

Dennis, in line, waves at the camera. Norman runs to meet Dennis, and takes his notebook. Norman brings the notebook to show a little girl (Sandi). Dennis joins them.
