Abstract
Breezy day, women and children in yard at the lake. Running around. Man smokes pipe. Man tries to make woman smoke pipe. German Shepherd dog. Children sit on woman. Dance around. Woman in glasses and hat gets into car. Woman throws and catches ball ably with mitt outside house. Boy in knickers throws ball. Bows when he catches ball. Three men, one with a tiny dog. Sit on step. Indoors at dining table briefly. Golf (Dirt at top of frame.) Boy in glasses and man with watch chain exit house. There is snow on the ground. Another man comes and shakes hands with man. Girl (three?) in chair with stuffed creature. A cat and a doll. Wicker chair. (Dirt returns) She has a ball. Pixie haircut with bangs. Fights over ball with smaller child. Puts fingers in her mouth, is told not to off camera. Girl in Easter dress (?) with small purse. Four children play ring around a rosie on lawn. Matching coats and hats. Man at doorway. Mother plays in gravel with children all sitting on the ground. Boy of ten or so marches out, has a pliers? Plays ball with girl on lawn, seated, passing it back and forth. Man by door with watch chain, chewing something. Child investigates pen in his vest pocket. (Dirt at top of frame.) Adults in winter coats prepare to board train. Train pulls out. Car with doors open, departure scene. Chauffeur in hat, Car pulls away. Family watches car. Children do high jump, adults raise bar. Running race, view from finish line. Three and four children at a time run. One boy has a sweater with handpainted PDS (?) lettering on it. Older boys throw things. Boys display ribbons on their chests. Students dressed in jackets and knickers. Could be graduation day.
