Documentary series on employment opportunities, barriers and support possibilities for young people in Maine. This title is noted in Educational Video Services, Maine State Library 1991 Catalog. NHF cataloguer's notes, 11/94: Phusically disabled and hearing impaired young people discuss how they feel about what others think of them. Problems and solutions in the workplace. Penobscot Job Corps program. Family discusses disabled daughter, signing and lip-reading programs and educational programs. Another family discusses hearing-imapired son. Father is frank about shortcomings of public school and how his son went to private school, which was much better. Woman in wheelchair (cerebral palsy?) discusses her lfe and work. Another woman in wheelchair working in an office discusses the beginnings of her work career and then work at Dept. of Transportation, also discusses her life and vocational rehabilitation. Another woman in wheelchair after car accident discusses relationships with men, the difficulties, sex and life with her partner. Credits at end. [This copy is a poor quality VHS dub, many drop outs, broken up image. Fourth generation at least, gets worse six or seven minutes in. Audio OK. KS, 3/94.]
