Summary
Collection contains a short instructional film, "Donald Bakes Bread," which explains bread baking using a wood stove; a man grinds whole wheat, mixes ingredients, and demonstrates kneading. Ingredients and recipe variations are reviewed at the end of the film. Collection also contains a documentary, "Porkoff," with Walter Lane and Bob Wagg, about a rural pig slaughter. Stuart Silverstein is an independent filmmaker living in Skowhegan, Maine. "Porkoff" and "Dead River Rough Cut" were produced by Silverstein with Richard Searls. "Donald Bakes Bread" is a Silverstein production and features Donald Freeman. "Porkoff" footage is included in "Dead River Rough Cut: Director's Cut."
