The International Maritime Film Festival is a juried contest of films celebrating the heritage, spirit of adventure, and ingenuity of boats and waterborne pursuits. It is the premier event for maritime-themed filmmaking. The IMFF is a joint venture between Main Street Bucksport and WoodenBoat Publications, Inc., in Brooklin, Maine, The Island Institute in Rockland, Maine, and World Ocean Observatory in Sedgwick, Maine.
In the months after this event, a compilation of the winning films will be offered to venues worldwide.
