It is that time of year when everyone is sooo over the snowy season, and yet it hangs on, and basketball is the only relief in sight.
For those who can’t get enough, here are several high school basketball clips originally broadcast during the 1960s and 1970s. These are part of the project digitizing Maine television broadcast collections and adding them to the NHF archives, with support from an NEH grant.
There are many more clips in the archive from college and professional basketball leagues, too, but those posted here are just a few of the high school stories selected for a quick antidote to spring fever.
