David Wells of the National Film Preservation Foundation (NFPF) reports that a clip from our Wohelo-The Luther Gulick Camp Collection is among the most popular on their site, with an estimated 1,027 viewings from June 1 to August 31! NFPF generously funded the preservation of 2 reels from this amazing collection in 2002.

Camp Wohelo was founded in 1907 by Charlotte Vetter Gulick and Luther Halsey Gulick, famed American inovator of physical education, and founder of the Camp Fire Girls. Located on Sebago Lake in Raymond, Maine, Wohelo invites young girls to their Little Wohelo residential camp, and older girls to their Sebago Wohelo residential camp where the oportunity to develop through fun experiences is provided in a rustic natural environment.

Please be sure to go watch the clip!
