https://www.fryeburgfair.org/

September 29-October 6, 2019
Please join Northeast Historic Film in the "Film Room" in the Farm Museum at Fryeburg Fair. We will be showing all of your favorites from our Videos of Life In New England collection including "From Stump to Ship" and "Dead River Rough Cut." Screenings are continuous and random throughout the day, following the schedule of other exhibitors. (9am-5pm) Sometimes earlier. Often later. Depends on interest and crowds. Requests are welcome.

We will also be sharing a new compilation featuring film from the Western Mountains Region of Maine. Images will include the Fryeburg Sesquicentennial (1927), the Brownfield Fire of 1947, Wohelo Camp on Sebago Lake, The Buck poultry farm in Naples (1935), skiing at Sugarloaf, ice fishing at Moosehead Lake and many other treasures. The digitization and ability to share these images is a project sponsored by The Betterment Fund. All screenings are FREE with admission to the Fair.
