We were recently contacted by the Woburn Historical Society in Woburn, MA looking for information about a lost silent film called The Heart of the Woburn Girl.

Well, we'd never heard of it, nor could we find out anything about it from our usual sources.

Turns out the Woburn Historical Society found out about it from a local farmer and former silent film actor named Joseph Cennerazzo who acted in local films and opera. Mr. Cennerazzo says that the film was presented at the local theater, called The Strand, in Woburn around 1919, and they think it was produced by a company called New England Film Productions.

Perhaps this is a lost ephemeral film, like The Movie Queen films produced by Margaret Cram?

Have you heard of The Heart of the Woburn Girl, or New England Film Productions from around 1919?

Send us your clues! If you help us find this lost film we'll give you a free DVD reference copy once we've transferred it!
