Northeast Historic Film in Maine Policy Review

Submitted by beminner

Jim Henderson, the President of our Board, and Karan Sheldon, co-founder of Northeast Historic Film and Board member, wrote a wonderful article that was recently published in the Maine Policy Review.

The piece, entitled "Northeast Historic Film and the Documentation of Maine's History" discusses the importance of moving images in documenting life in the 20th century, as well as the work of Northeast Historic Film since its inception almost 30 years ago. They also make an argument that Northeast Historic Film is well-posed to create a forward-thinking vision for the future of moving image archives and their importance in humanities work.
