"Sister's First Birthday Party 1940"
1940 color home movie of one-year-old girl's lakeside birthday party.
Opens with scenes of girls and mother at play on the beach and in the water. A low table is set outdoors with napkins, plates, a birthday cake with one candle, and cookies. The birthday girl is joined by two older girls and a boy. The mother feeds ice cream to the birthday girl, cuts the cake, opens the presents, and fits the girl with a new pink bonnet. A group of women watch the party from outside of a beach house. A man stands over the party table, a car in the background. Sunset over water.
