Woman rides horse in ring; she posts while horse trots. It is summer, she is in short sleeves. Girl on pone posts; holds reins with one hand. Horse canters. Horses take jumps. Slow motion. Horse knocks over rail several times. Dark, woman at piano, girl with violin. Poor exposure and very dupey print. Toddler girl in dress. Man reprimands her for putting her finger in her mouth. She cries. Boy looks at camera, plays with little girl. Dog with three children. Still very dark and murky. Mother with child in her lap, child falls backward delightedly. John Kenneth Galbraith and Henry Sturgis Dennison in garden. CU "$2,500 a Year" book [$2,500 a Year: From Scarcity to Abundance" (1936) by Mordecai Ezekiel. CU John Maynard Keynes book, "The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money," (1936) hand opens book. Longer shot of two men on lawn, they walk toward camera. Galbraith is very tall, Dennison is very short. Dennison smokes a cigarette in a holder. They gesticulate. Both holding papers. They walk back to chairs. Dennison falls backward in his low chair, they stand up and keep talking. The camera is on a tripod. Animated discussion being acted out for camera. Then they walk toward camera more contemplatively, Galbraith has a pipe. Dennison fills frame, they pace slowly back. Cut, they are seated, stand up again, walk to camera, Dennison has his hands out explaining something, gesticulates and looks up. They turn and walk back toward chairs away from camera. The brick house and its awning is on the left. Shrubs in the background. Dennison shrugs, then turns back to camera. End of this sequence. Man with two dogs. Dogs and man on lawn. Two Airedales on lawn with man in suit. Dennison with two Airedales, very affectionate. He is in shirtsleeves, takes one dog head under each arm. Camera follows dog. Dog takes his arm in its mouth. He seems happy. CU Dennison and dogs.
