Broadcast by NBC, early 1954, one of first in the Truth or Consequences series shows. A man was challenged to get a suit made in two weeks and given a bag of wool which he took to the Worumbo Mill. Begins with woman explaining background of footage (no image). Narration and image begin. Worumbo Mill 1865 sign. Contestant meets company president Oliver Moses, III. Gives him bag of wool. Contestant dumps wool into scouring maching. Wool is scoured and woven. Worker folding finished cloth. Contestant receiving cloth. Contestant walking in New York City looking for Hart, Schaffner and Marx. Showing cloth to company president. Tailor measuring contestant for suit. Marking and cutting cloth. Tailor hand-finishing suit and laughing with woman. Pressing suit. Contestant tries on and leaves with suit. Gets in car. [Outtakes]. Back to factory. Spinning machines and looms. Dyeing.
