Shots of men talking near the Acadia National Park Office building. People walk around a yard filled with several items. Footage of a University of Maine R.O.T.C. radio truck and a fire fighter talking into a walkie-talkie. Footage of the fire. Footage of firefighters filling their fire extinguishers with water, pumping water from a lake and spraying the ground with water, or “mopping-up.” Footage of the aftermath of the fire in Bar Harbor. A few shots of young men posing on the back of a pickup truck before it drives away. Footage of the fire interspersed with shots of firemen fighting the blaze by building a fire line and conducting a controlled burn to prevent the fire from jumping the line.
