May 1977 - Danica's 1st Communion: outside St. Mary's with Fa-thers McHugh, Falatico, and McGarvey, Sisters Margaret, Berna-dette, and Loretta, the McKeons, and Vincent Saul. Then Eddie and Pat's wedding day: Dad watering the shrubs out back (after his operations), and Eddie and Denny in Tuxedos packing the car to leave for church. ***** The wedding continued: outside the church after the ceremony with family and friends, including Sisters Francis and Winifred and the "rice thrower." ***** Early June 1977 - A visit to Great Adventure, including a tiger show, some amusements, and the safari park. ***** Great Adven-ture continued: back at the amusement park, including a water show and the petting zoo. ***** Father's Day 1977 - At Vet's Stadium for the Phillies-Atlanta game: then back home with the "give-away" hats and a yearbook. ***** July 1977 - Our annual trip to Vermont: on the dock, with the kids gathering crayfish; on the lake, with Gretchen and Danica in a canoe; and at the nearby playground, with Kevin and Carol and the kids on a windy day. ***** Vermont continued: the kids on the lake and on the dock; then Pop-Pop Johnson with them in a boat tied to the dock and later at the public beach; then Patty and Fran in a boat sunning themselves; then at the Greensboro golf course, with Pop-Pop swinging and Kevin caddying. ***** Vermont continued: Pop-Pop and the kids at Stowe outside the Trapp Family gift shop, waiting for the women; then the women (including "Baba") arrive; then the covered train bridge in Wolcott with a train going through.
