1925
NHF cataloger: A man fishing with a net on the beach. Three people on the beach near him. A couple watches while another man grabs the end of the net. The men bring in the net, look at the fish, and empty them into a box. Cut to a narrow pier with the man and woman from the previous scene walking down the pier toward the camera. [End of Reel]
Supplied by the Historic Movies of Martha’s Vineyard project at the Vineyard Gazette in Edgartown, Massachusetts: Fishermen seining at what appears to be Katama Bay, with Chappaquiddick in the background. Two summer people and their hired man watch and help. Scene of an older man and a younger woman walking down a pier from the ocean beach toward the camera. This looks like South Beach, and other scenes show a slender pier established here.
