Bus accident on Main Street, Ellsworth, followed by Robbins Bros. 3 Ring Circus train unloading. This film is from July 4, 1938. (See Robbins Bros tour dates, http://www.circushistory.org/Routes/RobbinsBros.htm#1938) More circus info, "In 1938, Adkins and Terrell put out a smaller second show they called Robbins Bros. Circus. Some of the wagons that had been on the Fred Buchanan show ended up on the 1938 version..." The Grand is showing The Shining Hour with Joan Crawford and "unwanted attentions of a farmhand." Released 1938.
Shots of the city of Ellsworth in winter including the results of a traffic accident in front of F.C. Scott's at the corner of Main and State Streets. Also the Robbins Bros. Circus train arriving and unloading to the delight of the locals.
