Color: A man (Chet) walks amongst burning brush and felled trees. Men throw more brush on the fire. A man uses an ax to cut branches off a tree. B&W: Chet making food by one of the fires. Gives a plate to the dog. Three men taking a break. Man driving a bull dozer. Two men play with young girl (Sally) by the construction site. Men working. Pouring concrete into foundation and flattening it with shovels. Removing boards from the sides of the foundation. Mixing concrete. Unloading lumber from a horse drawn cart. Truck backs up to the site and is loaded with a tree stump. Bulldozer pulling stumps out of the ground. Man chopping up a tree with an ax. Loading stumps into the back of the truck. Chet standing with an ax on his shoulder talking to a man. Horse car hauling lumber. Bull dozer knocking down trees. Cars stuck in the mud. Men try to lever them out. Man inspecting the construction site. Man on a horse drawn rototiller. Men working on the house. Chet and a man go into a shed. Pan across construction site. Children running around and men working.
