Camp Kieve. Boys (campers) at water’s edge. Footage of canoes and dockhouse. Boys get boats into the water, pack the boats and move supplies. Footage shot from moving boat: boats tied together in a train. Shot of camp as boat gets further from shore. Boys in bunks, dark footage, but can make out that they are tidying up, making beds, etc. Boys hike up a hill. Boys standing up straight in front of the bunk; they are all wearing tanktops with a ‘K’ on them. Boat/canoe races. Crab walk relay (crab walk, put on a shirt, swim with heavy basket to a boat, paddle with hands, climb a tower and jump into water). Diving. Counselors in uniform instructing divers. Boating. Boys gathered on dock. Target practice with rifles. Lifeguard teaches boys how to rescue struggling swimmers. Swim races. Group boating with counselors and boys. Fishing boats on the water. One boat reads: Boothbay Harbor. Footage of seine fishing (shot from larger boat pulling net on board). Brief view of campers watching seine fishing from dock.
