From Logbook: Woodpecker in tree on Cupsuptic Stream, Lewiston Falls, felling big tree (birch) at Rockwood Villa, Wadsworth Hinds in foreground, Longfellow Garden Society Pageant at Deering Oaks. New York City, Lachine, Que., Oxen & hay rack at Denmark, Maine. Ice storm at Portland, Maine.
A woodpecker on a tree. Water falls. [Lewiston falls?] Two men sawing a birch tree. People seated in a park. People gathered around a gazebo. Women dancing. Children presenting flowers to women. Girls running in the grace. Times Square, including a sign for ‘LOEW’S NEW YORK’. People, cars and trolleys. Sign: ‘Schulte’. A ship passing (through a lock?) A rotating bridge. People and cars crossing the bridge. A man leading two yoked oxen, followed by a horse drawn wagon. (Denmark, Maine) A tree lined street, with the trees covered in ice. Trees damaged by the ice storm. Brick houses, ice covered shrubbery. Snow covered street. A boy tries to walk on the ice. [End of Reel]
