Nashua (NH) Telegraph 12/14/1967 Rev. Dr. Isaac Higginbotham (1886-1967) England/MA Nashua (NH) Telegraph 12/14/1967 BOSTON-Memorial services will be Saturday for the Rev. Dr. Isaac Higginbotham, former executive secretary of the Massachusetts Baptist Convention. The Rev. Dr. Higginbotham died Tuesday night at the Baptist Home after a long illness. He was 82. A native of England, he came to the United States in 1897 and was graduated from Colby College. He received the degrees of bachelor of divinity and master of theology at Andover Newton Theological School. He received the degree of doctor of divinity from Colby in 1964. He leaves a son, two daughters, and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Higginbotham died last February. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Melrose.
