Patriarch at table with napkin tucked under chin, carves duck or goose. Man in suit at beach. Men and cars. 'Scituate Reservoir. Where our drinking water comes from.' Pan of reservoir. 'The aeration plant and fountains.' 'The First Snow 1929' 'The Monkey Moat at Roger Williams Park [Rhode Island]. Adolescent girl at the zoo. Man on a bicycle. 'The Bears at the Park.' Many men smoking cigarettes in various contexts, strike matches on shoes. 'Mr. Mays, John, Kathryn and myself at the golf course.' Men in white knickers. 'Our trip: Sept 15-Oct 1, 1929' Map shows Keyport, NJ, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Burlington [Vt.], Montreal, Toronto, Albany [NY]. U.S. Customs, 'View from Mt. Royal Hotel, Montreal.' Niagara Falls [good views]. Cemetery in Albany, headstone reads 'Byrne.' 'The Boardwalk and Oceon [sic] at Asbury Park, NJ'. Nice views of boardwalk. 'Scenes at Westerly, [Rhode Island] Aug 25, 1929.' [great car and garage.] Odd scene with man and rotating clothes line with underwear on it.
