ONSITE REFERENCE ONLY. Short Romance Drama: Sailor leaves family to go to sea, is thought lost when his boat sinks. The family loses its home and the young woman has to dig clams to make money. Jean the Vitagraph dog helps dig clams but has to be sold anyway. The sailor is found on a raft and returns home, finds Jean and then his family.
