Romance drama: 'The story of Dorothy, a poor but robust farm girl who is discovered by a rich man in white flannel trousers on a motor-car tour, and is loved also by a poor country boy. When Dorothy's father dies on discovering he's about to lose his farm, the mournful girl boards the Rutland Railroad for Burlington and finds work sewing children's play clothes at O.L. Hinds Co., an actual firm of the day. The rich man searches for her. So does the poor boy. At length, and after a car chase, the rich man finds her. They are in love, and so they tour and automated bread factory. There they meet the poor boy, who has found work in the shipping department. He embraces Dorothy, but she pushes him away; she turns to the rich man and shrugs. Soon after, beneath the grape arbor of a posh country home, Dorothy and the rich guy clinch.'
