One-day conference held at Westbrook College regarding the use of the arts to raise self-esteem in the aged including speakers, workshops and demonstrations. Fifth of six tapes. Starts in mid-sentence. Man addresses crowd on appropriate consignment crafts and marketing methods for aged craftspeople. Gigi Lekousi discusses community planning for the arts -- how to set up a program, funding, etc. Dee Merrill demonstrates example of her Lifeline exercise class for the aged offered at the University of Southern Maine. Class memeber go onstage and perform exercises: sit-ups, modified back arches, leg kicks, use of handheld weights.
