Compiled reel of black-and-white and color home movies including scenes of summer picnics, one of them a Rotary Club gathering.
Black-and-white section: A waterside picnic, swimmers, speedboats, rowers, a plane landed on the water, a Rotary Club gathering at which a group of men pose for a group portrait before sitting down to eat. Scenes of a church hall interior. Cut to another picnic group at long tables, this one at a different location near a waterside cabin. Two women, a man, and a puppy walk along the shore and on a dock. Color section: brief shots of an older man posing in military uniform, standing in a doorway and saluting the camera. Scenic views of forest lake.
