Includes scenes of auto camping at Dolly Copp Camp Grounds, hiking up Carter Dome, ranger watching for forest fires from Carter Dome summit tower, a hike up Mount Washington. But in New Hampshire there still remains a piece of nature's unsullied handiwork -- an ideal place for outdoor life and enjoyment.' (32:37) Text: 'Here in the White Mountain National Forest, amid towering peaks, balsalm-scented forests and silvery streams, the burdens of a work-a-day world may be forgotten and one may just loaf and play.' (32:51) Text: 'Twas the tired professor who wrote to the Forest Supervisor at Gorham, New Hampshire, about camping and tramping in the White Mountains.'
