Birthday party July 28, 1927 Gary poses for camera as do his young guests in a group shot then in CU's, playing a game called Going to Jerusalem (musical chairs), a watermelon eating contest, the boys and girls have a contest to see who can do the craziest thing (cartwheels, dances, hanging upside down, playing pass the handkerchief). A massive hotel and street scene, long pan of waterfront, dancing for the camera, Garry plays golf, lady reads on the beach, children picking blackberries, eating ice cream cones on beach with some nice CU's, swimming, horsing around for camera on the beach and on the porch, swinging on the swingset, rolling around on lawn, adult swinging golf club, Mom and the kids (all wearing berets), dancing for the camera, pan of harbor. At the beginning of the film are handwritten. TITLES: Garry's birthday party, July 28, 1927. Six years old; 2) The guests; 3) Going to Jerusalem; 4) Watermelon eating contest; 5) The Winner; 6) Competition; 7) Pass the Handkerchief. Meyer Davis Logbook: '1927--Jamestown. Meyer Davis rented a house in Jamestown, RI, at 22 Old Walcott Avenue for several years. The house was called "Fairacre."
