NITRATE // Four reels of 35 mm. film. Nitrate stock had some completely deteriorated sections which were removed during processing (approx. 10%) The remaining footage is in quite good condition. Stored in the nitrate storage area. Need to contact B.J. Morison about status/donation. Additional notes by DG are in the collection file. Reel 1 and 2 were presented by the Kathadin (sic) [Katahdin] Council Boy Scouts and contain scenes of camping and scouting activities including swimming, diving and boating. At least some activities take place at Camp Roosevelt. Reel 3 is a Snipe for Mother's Day encouraging people to 'Bring Mother to the movies at this theater.' Reel 4 is actually five strips (each 5-6 ' long) salvaged; frames read 'Thursday, Drastic Conditions Call for Drastic Action, This picture is not recommended for children under 16 years, Saturday Matinee at 2:00 p.m. Childrens Show.'
