Amateur footage primarily of camp activities at Birch Rock Camp, Waterford, Me. (and possibly at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H. where William Brewster, founder of Birch Rock Camp, was headmaster for many years). // NHF Cataloguer's Notes: LS several young men swimming in lake. CU young man smiling. LS group of boys gathered in center of lake. (18:02) MS young man in canoe. Two young men float along on what appear to be tire tubes. They fool around and tickle each other. Two older men have boys on their shoulders in lake. The boys push each other while on the men's shoulders. MS young man diving backwards into lake. One boy does a jackknife dive. More diving. Young man does somersault dive. Boys fool around in water. Two are on older men's shoulders. Boy approaches canoe. Horseplay continues. (20:02) LS lake. Two canoes paddled by young men, two or three in each canoe. Young men fooling with each other by wielding oars from separate canoes. They fence from canoe to canoe with oars. They row canoes back and forth as they fence. One boy upset's another's canoe. MS two boys flipping canoe at shoreline. MS platform composed of long sticks. Young men lay sticks on ground. Young man is sawing using two by four for base. MS platform. Young men working.
