Amateur footage primarily of camp activities at Birch Rock Camp, Waterford, Me. (and possibly at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H. where William Brewster, founder of Birch Rock Camp, was headmaster for many years). // NHF Cataloguer's Notes: Man walks across snowy lake. Small hole in ice for fishing. Pan lake. Man fishing waves to camera. Gets tin bucket and kneels. MS man holds up fish he has caught. (29:01) Better shot of fish which he has removed from stick. MS snowy woods, trees. MS man chopping lower trunk of tree with axe. Cabin, trees. MS man throwing tree limbs he has cut. He whacks at felled tree with axe. MS man sawing trunk of tree with long handled saw. More sawing, man joins in at other end of saw. Pan of woods, cabins, bare trees. Wooden house with porch. Man using axe on tree. (31:01) MS two fallen trees. MS man kneeling beside campfire in snow. Tall wicker fishing basket beside him. He has cooked food on stick. Man cuts at felled tree. He kneels beside campfire and lights his pipe from flame. Man places kettle on stick and puts kettle over fire. Pan of woods and trees. Other wooden homes in immediate area.
