Biographical/Historical Notes
Clifford O.T. Wieden was a professor at Farmington State Teacher's College. He worked with assistants Agnes Mantar and Charles Preble to arrange a course for teacher's college graduates that involved a tour of Maine's communities and industries. This film project to record the tour was initiated by Dr. E.E. Roderick, Deputy Commissioner of Education for Maine. The original 16 mm. film and extensive paper records are at Fogler Library Special Collections, University of Maine, Orono. WorldCat
