Collection concerns the paper and wood products manufacturing business, containing corporate films such as "Light Coated Quality" about paper manufacture, and "The Stud Mill Story," about production of timber for building. Collection includes a forest fire prevention public service announcement produced by the St. Regis Paper Company and the American Forestry Association. Collection also contains instruction and a home movie: footage shot for employee orientation and safety, and amateur footage showing a wood yard and a Labor Day celebration in Bucksport, Maine, with a rodeo, children's contests, and parade. Champion International Corporation was an international paper and wood products company. Bucksport, Maine, was the site for one of Champion's pulp and paper mills, formerly the St. Regis Paper Company mill.
