Susan McGinley lives in Eddington, Maine. Her father, Frank Flint McGinley, is the guide featured in "The Moose Country." He was born in 1900 and grew up in New Hampshire logging camps, later moving to South Paris, Maine, and graduating from Bates College in 1925. Working as a summer counselor at Camp Kennebec in Oakland, Maine, he led the camp's annual trips down the Allagash River. Susan found this film collection after her father's death in 1991. "The Moose Country" was copyrighted by Fox Film Corporation in 1927 in the series The World We Live In.
