The collection consists of five DVDs. Two DVDs are transfers from film of home movies from the 1930s, two are transfers from video of home movies and travel from the 1990s. The last DVD is a copy of the Buster Keaton film 'College'.
Biographical/Historical Notes
The DVDs were donated by Jane Yates. The films from the 1930s were shot by her father, a first generation German-American who worked as a dentist. The films from the 1990s depict the family when they are older, along friends visiting from France. Other films collected by Jane Yates's husband were donated to Duke University, North Carolina.
