Collection also contains actualities: footage of 1932 Winter Olympics events at Lake Placid, NY.
      E.B. (Elwyn Brooks) White was an essayist, humorist and fiction writer who was born in New York in 1899 and moved to Maine in the 1930s. Perhaps best known for his Talk of the Town column in The New Yorker magazine and for children's books such as Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little, he died in 1985. His wife Katharine was an editor at The New Yorker and wrote Onward and Upward in the Garden.
