STILL MINE

This unforgettable love story without sentimentality or melodrama from director Michael McGowan (St. Ralph) is based on the true story of an elderly New Brunswick couple and their trials with an intractable government. When Irene Morrison (Geneviève Bujold, "The King of Hearts", Northern Borders") can no longer navigate stairs, her husband of 61 years, Craig (James Cromwell, "Babe", "LA Confidential") starts to build a single story home on their rural farm, using wood milled on their land and a plan in his head.

STORIES WE TELL (PG-13)

In this inspired, genre-twisting new film, Oscar®-nominated writer/director Sarah Polley discovers that the truth depends on who's telling it. Polley is both filmmaker and detective as she investigates the secrets kept by a family of storytellers. She playfully interviews and interrogates a cast of characters of varying reliability, eliciting refreshingly candid, yet mostly contradictory, answers to the same questions.
