Aroostook County - 1920s

$14.95

Maine's northernmost county, Aroostook, is known for agriculture, outdoor recreation, and congenial towns. Made on the occasion of Presque Isle's centennial in 1920, this is a record of life in and around the town. Professionally filmed and titled, the film includes businesses and notable people of the day. The music on this videotape is from songs of the period compiled by Maine silent film accompanist Danny Patt.

Preserve

Without cold storage at low humidity, the film in your basement or your neighbor's attic cracks, rots, and fades, and part of our region's history is lost. NHF staff members have the skills and tools to preserve your valued moving images.
