Closing the Circle: The Alewife Run in Damariscotta Mills, Maine

Explores the relationship between the people of the small village, Damariscotta Mills, and alewives, and the evolution of that relationship over time.  Historic footage and photographs are paired with film shot at the 2004 annual arrival of the alewives.  The images reflect the influence of their migrations on local heritage, culture, and survival during the last two centuries.
