THIS IS A MUSIC CD

The Best of the late Frank Hatch

"My father's songs have been sung by young and old for generations, ever since 1919 when Oliver Ditson Company bought his Harvard Hasty Pudding hit ballad, "Some of the Time I'm Lonely." A published author, his verse and prose appeared in the New Yorker, Atlantic and Saturday Review as well as his weekly column in Essex County newspapers.
He loved theater in any form from family plays he wrote and produced on the banks of the Penobscot River to musical comedies written for more traditional Greater Boston settings.  He composed the music and lyrics on this CD during the last 40 years of his life.  They echo the worlds he loved most: Castine, Maine and Boston."

Preserve

Without cold storage at low humidity, the film in your basement or your neighbor's attic cracks, rots, and fades, and part of our region's history is lost. NHF staff members have the skills and tools to preserve your valued moving images.
