Honest Vision: A Portrait of Todd Webb

$39.95

A Film by Huey
The life and times of photographer Todd Webb (1905-2000) are told through the wit and stories of Webb himself. Featured are Webb’s elegant black and white photographs of Paris and New York taken in the 1940s and 1950s, and his photographs of the American West taken in the 1950s and the 1960s when he retraced the Gold Rush Trails. Webb’s friendship with Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O’Keeffe is told in the revealing portraits he took of these influential artists. This is also a love story of Todd and Lucille Webb; an inseparable team.

Preserve

Without cold storage at low humidity, the film in your basement or your neighbor's attic cracks, rots, and fades, and part of our region's history is lost. NHF staff members have the skills and tools to preserve your valued moving images.
