From a story by James Oliver Curwood, the film was co-authored by its star, Nell Shipman. Newlywed Dolores LeBeau (Shipman) is on a voyage to the Arctic with her husband Peter Burke (Wheeler Oakman) when she discovers that the ship's captain is responsible for the murder of her father. As Dolores seeks justice in the Arctic, she is rescued from the killer by her dog, Wapi. Filmed in Alberta, Canada and California. Actor Ronald Byram died from pneumonia during filming in Alberta and was replaced by Oakman.
