Collection contains [unidentified--home movies] and "University of Maine at Machias: The Maine Experience." The film includes amateur footage of a graduation procession on campus and a project chopping down small trees and constructing a miniature log cabin. The videotape (ca. 1980s) promotes admissions for the University with scenic views of the campus and student activities as well as short interviews with satisfied students.

Machias is located on the downeast coast of Maine. The University, founded as a teachers' college in 1909, enrolls a student body of approximately 1,000.
