Biographical/Historical Notes
Ned Sprague's father found these five reels of film. One reel is undated and may have been shot in the 1920s. Moosehead Lake in Maine was a popular destination for fishing tourists who would gather in Greenville via the railroad service to Forest Station, board the steamers, and go across the lake to log cabin camps such as The Birches.
