Reel label: 'Great Adventure, Part 1.' // Reel consists of 2 700 ft. pieces spliced together, but going in different directions (heads are spliced together). Likely an incomplete print of reel 1. // See 0858.0012 for complete film. // Swedish farm children save a wild otter from a hunter, then attempt to tame the animal. When spring comes, the children realize without remorse that the otter will be happier roaming free in the wilderness. Earned the 'superior technique' award at the 1954 Cannes Film Festival. // Further repair needed.
