NY date range 1908-1913, 35 mm. nitrate, 40'. [Royal Court] fragment of Pathe stencil color, contains two sewn splices, no titles but ends when everyone walks off camera. Date range from edge markings 1909-1911, 35 mm. nitrate, 90' The Surf Girl, fragment of 1916 Keystone short. Contains one intertitle, ìWait for me, dear.î Action takes place at recreation area with rollercoaster in background, later around changing rooms and swimming pool. Datecode 1916, 35 mm. nitrate, 50' 97. Road to the Pyramids. Travelogue, silent, tinted, datecode 1925, 35 mm. nitrate, 900' 98. Whoopee can label says, ìWhoopee Excerpt Soundtrack.î Printed into the leader is Whoopee part 12. Contains two production numbers. The first has an Indian in headdress standing on a cliff edge singing. The second is a cowboy themed tune led by a woman. There are three or four splices where it looks like only a frame or two was removed. DC on leader was confusing Eastman Kodak (1931) Nitrate Film (1944) 35 mm. nitrate, 900' [Given to UCLA Film Archives, 03-18-99] 99. Will Rogers Memorial Hospital appeal starring Jimmy Stewart. The cardboard container indicates, ìDamaged film cut from ìKing of Kingsî b&w, SOF, 35mm safety(?), 350' 100. The Black Pirate excerpt with Douglas Fairbanks Sr. Very deteriorated orange tinted for the first 600'. After that there is a section with perfect color. Noted on the can ìOK 7-1-42 E.T.î also, ìOK 11-2-42 E.T.î There is a very peculiar section where the image goes from the story to a few frames of a parking lot which is tinted green, then six clear frames, then a different view of a parking lot, but tinted red, then back to action .
