Doggie dinner, 1940. 3. 27 March 1940 Uncle Sam's 75th birthday party. Screening notes: Adults and children at candlelit table. Man smoking cigar, birthday cake. (Faded color) Table settings and flower arrangements. People eating, man carves roast beef, maid serves. Man displays (papier mache?) rabbits on oriental carpet. Woman and girl looking at goldfish in small outdoor lily pond. Joined by group of well-dressed adults. Man coaxes German Shepherd dog to jump on stool, leap over stool, fetch ball, beg, roll over. (Faded color) Swiss Inn, Milford, PA. Man and woman stand tossing snowballs from pile of snow in otherwise green garden. Handmade sign '40th Anniversary,' stick figure couple kiss 'Smack Smack.'
